In this guide we'll show you how to check that your AM/PM daily register has been completed
TABLE OF CONTENTS
1 - Incomplete Day Attendance widget
This is a widget which shows you which register marks haven't yet been completed, for the current day. This is a good way to ensure that registers are being completed each day.
1.1 - To add this widget to your dashboard, when on the home dashboard, click Add Widget
1.2 - In the window that appears on screen, you can then click on the dropdown and select Day Attendance - Incomplete Day Attendance
1.3 - The widget should now appear on your dashboard
Where there is a ticked box, this shows that the attendance has been marked. an unticked box means that the attendance hasn't yet been entered for that student.
Any students that appear on this widget means that either the Morning and/or the Afternoon attendance hasn't been marked for them. When both the Morning and the Afternoon marks have been saved for a student, the student won't appear in the widget.
2 - Running the missing marks report
You can run a report that shows you any missing attendance marks over a period of time.
2.1 - First go to Timetabling > Day Attendance
2.2 - Click on Reports > Print Missing Attendance
2.3 - Select which registers you want to check
Tutor - This field allows you to check the registers for a specific tutor (all relevant students must be linked first)
Holiday Set - This allows you to choose which Holiday set to use when running the report, to let the system know which days not to include in the report (days that your provision is closed)
Select the date range you want to check using the Between and And fields
Show None Outstanding - When this is ticked, it will show on the report any days that all register marks have been made. Unticking this means that the report will only show register marks that are missing.
Show by Building - This will group the students based on what building they have been allocated to on the system
Include Weekend? - This will also check Saturday and Sunday within the date range you've given.
