1. This guide will look at how to create the Baseline Scoring Group – This will be used to assign scores to the baseline assessment, as well as any follow up assessments. First, head to Administration > Standard Values > Integrated Baseline Scoring (Within the Education Management Values box) as shown in the screenshot below.
2. This will bring up a box showing any scoring groups already on the system. To create a new group, click Add Group.
3. This will prompt you to give this new group a name – Simply type the desired name and press Save.
4. This group will now be shown within the list, ready for scoring options to be added. Press the pencil icon next to the newly created scoring group, followed by Add New Score.
5. This will bring up a box where you will input the first scoring option. This will vary depending on your workplace – In this example we will use the scores of ‘Emerging’ ‘Developing’ and ‘Secure’.
Fill in the details of the first scoring option, including a Numerical Value and Legend Colour for reporting purposes, then press Save.
NOTE: All scores must have a different numerical value.
6. By pressing the + next to the scoring group, you can see all the created scoring options. Repeat step 5 until all the necessary scoring options have been created. You can also press the Pencil icon next to a scoring option to open it back up to make any changes or delete. This scoring group is now complete, ready to be added to the Target Cache.
