How to Complete an Assigned Baseline Assessment

Created by Liam Morgan, Modified on Mon, 18 Nov at 1:17 PM by Liam Morgan

1. Starting from the dashboard, you will firstly need access to the widget Staff - My Data. If this is not already on the dashboard, click Add Widget, and select Staff - My Data from the dropdown list. Then, press Add Widget

2. The widget will now appear on your dashboard. Clicking the + next to My Integrated Baseline Assessments will expand the list to show all students with baseline assessments you have been assigned to. Any students in red, have assessments past their end date. (Note that if this does not appear, no pending assessments have been assigned to you).

Similarly, clicking the + next to a student name will expand the list to show all of your assigned assessments for that student, as they may have multiple assessments ongoing. Again, any in red are past their end date.

Click the Assessment Text to begin inputting scores.

3. From the assessment screen you can:

- Add comments to the entire assessment by selecting the + next to Comments.

- Give each target a score using the dropdown menus and add comments to the individual targets using the Pencil icon.

Click Save Changes when complete.

4. Going back to the Baseline Manager Screen will allow you to see this updated baseline assessment. Click Student > Baseline Manager, click the +  next to the student name will show all baseline assessments for the learner. Clicking one will show the details inputted earlier.

5. You can choose from a range of actions from this screen, most notably the icons in the top right do the following, from left to right:

   - Edit Baseline: This will bring back the Target Cache from step 5.

   - Copy Baseline as Reassessment:

   - Complete / Undo Assessment

   - Transfer to Live

   - Print Baseline

   - Archive Baseline

These are all processes of their own, which are covered in separate guides.
