Also known as Support Plans, Care Plans are used to record the overall plan of looking after the Learner and can encompass as much as required possibly including categories such as Medication, Allergies, Toileting, Dressing, Eating, Wellbeing etc.

Locating Care Plans (Quick)

Navigate to Care > Care Plan Quick in the module list on the left. If you cannot see or access this area, then you need to have your permissions configured accordingly.

Care Plan Quick is used to view a Learner's Care Plan, and has no edit function.

Note:
You can still add Risk Assessments via the Care Plan Quick page, but to add other statements and categories, please refer to the Care Plan Detailed page.

Each Learner will appear on screen in a list. Click on a Learner to bring up all of the Master Categories of their Care Plan. Then click on the relevant Master Category to expand it and show any Sub-Categories or Care Statements attached to it.

Adding Risk Assessments

To add Risk Assessments to a Learner's Care Plan, click on the relevant Learner in the list, and then select the Risks Category.

Any Risk Assessments already attached to a Learner will appear here, displaying the type of Risk Assessment attached, the date it was updated, who created the Assessment, and then the option to edit each Assessment using the Notepad icon, or delete using the Trashcan icon.

Underneath the list of existing Assessments, you will see there is the Add New Risk Assessment button. Clicking on this will open a window where you can then select from the dropdown which type of Risk Assessment you want to use. Once you've selected the relevant Type, click the blue Create button.
