Databridge has a dashboard which gives a live view of selected information, such as student attendance information, event actions, sessions etc. The dashboard is shown on logging in to Databridge, but you can return to the dashboard at any time by selecting Dashboard in the left navigation menu.
Information is provided by widgets which retrieve and show the information. Widgets can be added or removed from the dashboard to suit the information the user wants to have available, dependant on the user's permissions.
A standard set of widgets can be specified to appear on the user's dashboard based on the security group they belong to. In this way the user will always have a standard set of dashboard widgets showing, specified by the system administrator.
Information
A user does not have permission to remove any widgets that were added in dashboard manager.
Configuring the Dashboard
The standard widget set for the main dashboard for a security group are configured using Dashboard Manager. To access dashboard manager go to Administration and choose Dashboard Manager.
First choose a site from the dropdown at the top of the panel, if you have more than one set up, to ensure you are configuring the correct one. This will show a list of all security groups configured for the chosen site.
To edit the dashboard widget configuration for a security group click the notepad icon next to the group in the list. This will produce a list of all available shortcuts (widgets) for Databridge in the right hand panel. If a widget is set for that security group it will have a tick against it.
To set a dashboard widget for the selected security group add a tick against it, to remove a standard widget for that group remove the tick against it.
Click Save when finished.
