Within Databridge there are several modules which group together system functions and information. Access to these modules is controlled by the Module Manager. In this way you can limit the areas of Databridge that users can access by enabling or disabling the visibility of modules for specified security groups.
Modules such as Administration and Security would normally be hidden for non-admin users for example. You can also choose to hide modules below the main module independently, so for example under Learners you may want to hide Applications for some users but allow them to access Review Meetings.
Information
Some modules may be hidden automatically based on other security permissions for the user.
Configuring Access to Modules
To access module manager go to Administration and choose Module Manager.
First choose a site from the dropdown, if you have more than one set up, to ensure you are configuring the correct one. This will show a list of all security groups configured for that site.
To edit the module access for a security group click the notepad icon next to the group in the list. This will produce a list of all available modules in the right hand panel. If a module is enabled for that security group it will have a tick against it. By default all modules will be ticked.
To show a module for the selected security group add a tick against it, to hide a module for that group remove the tick against it.
Important
Modules must be disabled for all groups a user belongs to for it to be hidden for that user.
Click Save when finished.
