Return to Work Interviews

Return to Work interviews are generated after creating Staff Absence records. You can use these as prompts and request them to be created only as required.




Adding Return to Work Interviews


Instead of adding these as individual records, they need to be linked to an Absence record and there are two ways this can be accomplished: 


  • When creating a new absence OR
  • Editing the absence header


At either time above, you need to set the RTW Required field accordingly. This will determine if a RTW record will appear for this Absence.




Viewing Return to Work Interviews


After setting absences which require return to work interviews, these RTWs will appear in the following areas: 


  • On the main dashboard, click on Add Widget -> Staff - Return to Work Interviews Required widget.
  • In the Absence Manager screen -> click on the relevant staff member -> Return to Work tab- > Absence Header panel.




Completing Return to Work Interviews


There are two areas to record the return to work interview:


  • In the Absence Manager screen -> Return to Work tab -> Absence Header panel then, if you click on the pencil icon you can use the options as detailed in the table below.
  • On the main dashboard click on Add Widget -> Staff - Return to Work Interviews Required widget -> View/Complete RTWs, in the List of interviews panel, click on the edit button to load the absence headers and then, you can use the options as detailed in the table below.

Record Return to Work

Here you can complete the relevant details and attach documents.


If the option for Further Action Required is toggled, this means the absence will show in the RTW Further Actions Required widget on the main dashboard.

Go To Absence HeaderThis option will open the related absence header to view the main details.




Editing Return to Work Interviews


If you need to edit or view the return to work interview details again then go to the Absence Manager screen -> click on the relevant staff member -> Return to Work tab -> RTW Interviews Completed For panel and then you can use the options as mentioned below.

Here you can view and edit the relevant details, you can view the current documents and attach new ones.


You can also toggle the option for Further Action Required off which will remove the absence from the RTW Further Actions Required widget on the main dashboard.

Go To Absence HeaderThis option will open the related absence header to view the main details.
