Absence Manager Screen

The Absence Manager screen allows you to view, report on and make changes to Absences, Holidays and Return to Work Interviews. You can use the filters on the left hand side to filter the Staff list or use the search option above the list. 




Viewing Details on Absence Manager


To view the details, click on a relevant member of Staff on the left hand side and you will be presented with the following tabs:

Absence

This contains summarised information on the absence headers and days. Absence headers is the instance of the absence. Absence Days is the number days absence for the instance.


You can change the view the headers or days in this tab by going to the View menu and toggling between By Absence Header and By Absence Days.


You can use the drop-down option to go to the absence header for editing or deleting.


You shall also see the selected staff's Bradford Factor calculation at the top right of the blue panel header.

HolidayThis contains any approved and pending holiday requests for the select year. Here you can use the edit button to approve, deny or cancel holidays in this tab.
Return To Work

This contains any pending and completed return to work forms. You can use the edit button to complete and edit any return to work form here.


You shall also see the selected staff's Bradford Factor calculation at the top right of the blue panel header.





Absence Manager Menu Options


Also available on this screen are the following settings and reports:


  • File Menu

- Add Absence will take you to the add absence screen

- Shift Patterns allows you to create shift patterns which can be attached to a job record

- Absence Settings provides numerous options for hide columns

- Sick Pay Bulk Update allows you to update the F-OSP, H-OSP and SSP fields for multiple staff records. (These fields can be found on the Personnel Tab of their record.)

- Sick Pay Settings is where you can then set the incrementation for Sick Pay. You can only do this once the staff have had their Sick Pay recorded

  • View Menu

- By Absence Headers will show the absence in the absence tab as headers

- By Absence Days will show the absences tab per day

- Holiday Entitlement Templates is where you can create a template to then apply Holiday Entitlement to all learners of either a specific Job Title or Staff Category

- View all Holiday Requests will take you to a screen that lists all Holiday Requests made. To view this, you must have the permission 'Staff - Holiday Request Approver'

- Return to Work Interviews Required will take you to the return to work screen 

- Absence Dashboard will take you to the Absence Dashboard for reporting

- Absence Monthly Calendar will take you to a tabular view

  • Reports Menu

- Absence Days will print out absence days

- Absence Headers will print out absence headers

- Absence Monthly will print out absences by month

- Absence Summary will print out a summary for the staff absences

  • Alerts Menu

- Notifications allows you to select staff members to receive notifications when adding or editing absences
