To locate existing Event Logs, go to Event Log -> Find Event

This will automatically list any Events for the current date and provide several options and filters to list further events.

Category – Choose an event category from the drop-down list to limit the list to Events for that Category only.

Date Range – Choose a Date Range option from the drop-down list. The are several standard date ranges available, for example This Academic Year. If you choose the Custom (default) option, then you can manually pick the 'Between' dates. Choosing a predefined date range populates the Between date automatically.

View Options – Click to view options that filter the list of events between the date range selected even more. (E.g - select individual Learners involved, or search for events entered by one individual).

ID - You can filter the list by Event ID. You can enter the ID if known and/or use the up/down arrow.

Options for Event Logs

Once a list of events has been produced, they will appear in the main panel with summary details of the events.

For each event you can click the pencil icon in order to:

View Event

View Actions for the event or

Delete Event

The warning triangle against an event log denotes that the event has Actions that have not been completed by the due date. Clicking this icon will produce a window showing which Actions have a warning.

When viewing Actions you can change the Staff assigned to the Action, the date it is due by, complete it and add comments to it using the relevant icons. The option to Add New Action will also be available.

A chain icon against an event denotes that this is linked to one or more other events. Clicking this icon will show a list of all the events that are linked to this one.

Linked Events

As well as clicking the chain icon on Events in the Find Event list to see linked events, you can produce a list specifically of linked events.

Under Event Log click on Linked Events. Enter a date range and Category to filter as necessary. You can also add a link ID if you know it. Also you can add a grouping to group together linked events.
