Resolving Staff Login Issues

1. If staff report that they are unable to login to Databridge, there are a number of things that could be causing the issue, and this guide will run through the things to check / steps to take. First, navigate to the Staff member's record via Staff > List > *Staff Name* > View Staff.

2. Within the Staff Record, click on the Security Tab and check to see if the Is Locked Out Checkbox is not checked. If it is, click it to uncheck. Next, click Send Reset Password Email and the member of staff will receive an Email containing a new password and will be prompted to change this on their next login.

3. If the Staff member is not receiving this email, then navigate to the Work Tab and check that the email address in the Work Email box is correct ensuring that there are no spelling errors or spaces before or after the email address. If this email address was incorrect, make the necessary changes and repeat step 2.

4. If the Staff member still cannot log in, head to the Security Tab in their Staff Record as per steps 1 & 2, and check that the Access to Site checkbox is checked, and if using multiple sites, ensure that this is the case for the site they are trying to log into.

If this is incorrect and needs to be edited, click the Pencil Icon next to the corresponding site.

5. Select the correct Site from the Dropdown Menu and check the Part of Site and Access to Site boxes. Then Click Save.

6. If the Staff Member has access to multiple sites, Click Add Site and repeat step 5.

7. Another thing to check is the username. Within the Security Tab, click the Spanner Icon next to the Username Field to ensure that it is correct. Similarly to checking the email address, ensure that there are no spelling errors and no spaces before or after the Username.

8. Make any necessary changes here, then click Save.
