1. The Student MAR Grid is used to keep record of medication administered. To access to this, first navigate to the student's record by clicking Student > Find Student > *Student Name* > View Student.
2. Click on the Medication tab. From here you can see both current and previous medication related to that Student. To view and enter details in the MAR grid, click View MAR Grid.
3. From this screen, you can see a monthly record of medication taken / refused. A Tick indicates that the medication was taken, whereas an Exclamation Mark indicates that the medication was refused. Clicking any of these icons will open up further details.
The displayed Month can be changed using the Month and Year Filters on the left of the grid.
To add a new Medication Entry, click Add Entry.
4. Fill in the details on the entry as prompted, then click Save.
- Date - Date of medication, may not necessarily be the same as the current date if being done retrospectively.
- Medication - Select the appropriate medication from the dropdown list that of medications that the Student is currently taking
- Witnessed By - Select the appropriate member of staff from the dropdown menu.
- Refused? - This is a checkbox to indicate if the Student refused the medication. If this is checked, a textbox will appear below. Enter details of the refusal here.
