Locate and select the Admin - SMS / Email Announcements widget on your dashboard.

If the widget is not already visible, please see the link to the guide below for how to add widgets to your dashboard:

How to add widgets

1. Firstly, select which type of contact you want to send to using the drop down box.

Student - Send a message directly to the Students.

Student Contact(s) - This will allow you to choose the student and send a message to all contacts under their profile.

Staff - Send a message to staff members.

Transport - Contact student transport.

For Student and Student Contact(s), use the Status filter to find the relevant contact. Then select the Student Type and Programme.

For Staff you can select the Department and Category.

2.  In this example we will send a message to multiple student contacts.

Here you can select the students whose contact(s) will be receiving the email.

Select them individually using the tick box next to their names as seen below.

Or, use the tick box to the right of the dropdown section to deselect/select all.

3. From here, select Email or SMS.

SMS will need to be setup, you can do this by using the following guide:

Configuring and using SMS in Databridge

Write the Subject and Message in the allocated text boxes.

Click Send Message and the message will be sent.

The message will be sent to anyone who has a blue tick next to their name, provided their contact details have been entered.
