Importing Multiple Students to Databridge

1. If you wish to add multiple students to Databridge you have the option to Import them in bulk. The Import will allow for you to upload multiple students at once, with selected student data attached. To do so, first navigate to Student > Find Student > File > Import Students.

2. Clicking Import Students will open the Import page where you can create and upload multiple students at one time. To Import multiple students you first need to download and fill in the Import Template, using the guidance found in the Help page to support. To access this, click the Help button. 

3. Clicking the Help button will open a pop-up window explaining what data can be imported in bulk, and what fields are mandatory for the import to be successful. Clicking the Download Import File will generate an Excel for you to fill in with the students data. 

4. Open the Import Template from your Downloads folder, and using the Help page fill in the relevant student data. It is important not to leave empty rows as the Import will read an empty row as the end of your Import. 

5. Once you have populated the relevant data on the Excel, navigate back to the Import page. You can now click Upload File.

6. Clicking Upload File will open a pop-up window, here click Choose File and select your completed Import from your machine. Once selected, click the blue Import button.

7. Clicking the blue Import button will let you know if you need to make any amendments to your Excel under the Reason won’t import column. These errors will appear in red. 

8. As long as your Reason won’t import column is clear, you can click the green Finish Import button. Once your Import has been completed you will find your new students in the Find Student List, with their attached data in the relevant fields on their profiles.
