As well as Sessions, you can record Tutorials for Learners which also appear on their Timetable accordingly. It is recommended you read the article above this one to setup any other fields you may need.
Locating Tutorials
There are two ways to get to the Tutorials screen:
- Navigating to Learners -> Tutorials. This will display Tutorials for all current Learners split by Tutor node (where you are their Tutor) or by Other (i.e. all other Learners you are not their Tutor). Use this option to add and view Tutorials across multiple Learners.
- From a Learner record, in the View menu click on Tutorials. This will take you to the same screen however it will only load Tutorials for the individual Learner when navigating this way.
Adding Tutorials
Once you are on the Tutorials screen, click on the Add Tutorial button at the top. A modal will appear asking you to enter the following:
Field | Description |

Learner | Select the Learner applicable to this Tutorial. |
Tutorial Type | Select the Type of Tutorial (see previous article on setting these up). |
Date | The date of the Tutorial, by default it sets it to the current date. |
Start Time | The time the Tutorial starts, by default it sets it to the current time. |
End Time | The time the Tutorial ends, by default it sets it to an hour after the current time. |
Location | Select where the Tutorial will be taking place. |
With | Select the staff doing the Tutorial, by default this is the current user. |
Also With | Optionally set whether a second person is taking part in the Tutorial. |
Once you have finished, click on Save. The modal will close and then you will be taken to the modal for editing the Tutorial should you need to make further changes. See the next section for this.
Editing / Updating Tutorials
Either after you have just added a Tutorial or you have selected one underneath a Learner using the + icon to find it, you will get a modal for editing the Tutorial.
As well as the fields mentioned in Adding Tutorials above, you can also set the following here:

Staff Comments | Enter any comments from Staff. |
Learner Comments | Enter any comments from Learners. |
Details Tab | This displays any custom fields you have setup for this Tutorial Type, see the previous article on setting these up. |
Documents Tab | Attach any relevant documents to the Tutorial. |
After making changes, ensure to click on the Save button at the bottom.
As well as recording the details above you also have the following options on this modal:

Clicking this will let you select Staff/Learners to send the details of this Tutorial too and will include documents you have attached. | |
Delete | Remove this individual Tutorial. |
Print this individual Tutorial. | |
Goals | Open the Goals screen for this Learner. |
Targets | Open the Targets screen for this Learner. |
Deleting / Printing multiple Tutorials
Locate each Tutorial you want to delete/print accordingly and tick the checkbox next to each one. This way the screen knows which Tutorials you want to bulk remove/print.
When finished with your selection simply click on the relevant Delete Selected or Print Selected as required.
