The Personal tab on a Learner record is used to record personal attributes, as well as individual numbers such as UPN/ULN. There are four sections under the Personal tab to group together related information.
Personal
The Personal section contains personal attributes about the Leaner:

Preferred Pronoun | The pronoun the Learner prefers. |
Date of Birth | The Learner's Date of Birth |
Ethnicity | Choose from the drop down list. |
Nationality | The Learner's nationality. |
Nationality 2 | Add a second nationality if they have one |
First Language | The Learner's primary language |
Religion | The Learner's religion if they have one. |
Marital Status | The Learner's marital status |
Height * | The Learner's height |
Height Date * | Record the date the above height was recorded |
Weight * | The Learner's weight |
Weight Date * | Record the date the above weight was recorded |
Shoe (Left) | Left shoe size |
Shoe (Right) | Right shoe size |
Orthotics | Yes/no option to indicate orthotics are used |
Eye Colour | The Learner's eye colour |
Hair Colour | The Learner's hair colour |
Distinguishing Marks | Details of any distinguishing marks |
Country of Birth | The Learner's country of birth |
* The Height Tracking and Weight Tracking buttons will show height/weight history as an audit, and will also show a graph of height/weight progress so that you can identify increase/decrease over time.
Also included in the Personal section is an area for recording ID numbers and educational based information related to the student:

Career Objective | A note relating to the student's career intentions |
Key Stage | The Learner's education key stage automatically calculated based on DOB |
Proficiency in English | Record how well the student understands and uses English |
Shared Care Statements
The Shared Care Statements lists statements recorded on the Care Plan that have been marked as shared so they are visible here. Only Categories that have been marked to be shared will show up in this list. Typical categories might be Medication, Allergies, Disabilities, Mobility, i.e. statements that all users may need to be aware of whilst still protecting the rest of the Care Plan.
To share a care statement go to Administration -> Standard Values and click on Care Statements under the Defaults area. Click on the relevant sub menu, for example you might have a group called 'Medical Condition', and tick the Share on Student option.
Tip Clicking the notepad icon will allow you to view any notes for the statement listed in the Shared Care Statements.
Residential
The Residential section has information relating to whether the Learner is a Day or Residential Learner. If they are a Residential Learner, you can record further information in regards to this:

Weeks | The number of weeks of residence |
Nights/Wk | The number of nights per week residence |
Part Time | Tick to record the Learner as part time |
Address ** | Shows the current building and/or room the student is using |
Room Start | The starting date of residence |
Room End | The end date of residence |
Residential Notes | Any notes relating to the residence |
** To change the residence address/rom click the Change Room button. Choose the location from the drop down and record the start and end dates for the occupancy.
The History button will show a list of the rooms/buildings the student has had.
ILR
The ILR section of the Personal Tab contains a checkbox that you can use to choose to exclude/include a learner on the ILR
You can also set Maths and English Condition of Funding using the dropdowns next to each value
Other
The Other section contains further information about the Learner including:

High Needs Funded | Tick if the Learner is high needs funded |
Parent/Carer is Critical Worker | Indicate if the Learner's parent/carer is a critical worker |
In Care | Indicate if the Learner is in care |
EMA Number | The Learner's European Medical Agency number |
EMA Date | The EMA number date |
Dropdown 1 | A custom field that can be re-labelled in Standard Values, and suitable values choices can be configured |
Dropdown 2 | A custom field that can be re-labelled in Standard Values, and suitable values choices can be configured |
Deceased | Indicate if the Learner is deceased |
Date of Death | Record the date the Learner died if applicable |
