Adding Learners

To add a Learner, navigate to Learner in the navigation menu > Find Learner. Here you will find a + symbol, selecting this will generate a new window where you can fill in the Learner’s details. 

 

 

 

The details supplied when first adding a Learner to the system are: 


 

Option

Description 

Site

If you have multiple Sites within Databridge, this dropdown will allow you to select which the Learner will be attending. 

Title

Learner’s Title

First Name

Learner’s First Name

Surname

Learner’s Surname

Known As

If the Learner is known by another name, this can be entered here. 

Status

Here you can set the Status of the Learner, such as ‘Current’. 

Department

Using the dropdown, you can select which Department the Learner is linked to. 

Starting Year Group

Select the Year

Local Authority

Using the dropdown, you can select which Local Authority the Learner is linked to.

Residential

Specify whether they are a Residential or Day Learner

Date of Enquiry

Select the date from the Calendar 

Planned Start Date

Select the date from the Calendar

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 




It is worth noting that you do not need to fill in every filter in this window. This information can be added later once the Learner’s Profile has been setup. 

 

Once you are happy with the information provided, select ‘Save’. You will now be able to find this Learner’s Profile when navigating to Learner > Find Learner

 


 

 


 Warning

 Databridge will check the name(s) you enter in case the Learner has already been added. Please check this if it finds any results before finishing your save.
