1. To add a new Student to Databridge you first need to navigate to Student > Find Student from your Dashboard. Clicking Find Student will load the page as so (Student is a customisable System Label, you may find that your button is labelled differently, such as Learners).
2. To add a single Student to Databridge, click the + symbol at the top of the page.
3. Clicking the + symbol will open a pop-up window as below. Here you can select the Site the student will be attending, their Title, First Name, Surname, Known As, Status, Department, Starting Year Group, Local Authority and whether they are a Residential student or not. Clicking the blue Save button will save the student on to Databridge.
3.1 Once you have clicked the blue Save button, you will be taken back to the Student List where your new Student will now appear.
4. If you wish to add multiple students at once and with more data attached, you do have the option to use our Import feature. To access this, navigate Student > Find Student from your Dashboard. From here click the File > Import Students.
5. Clicking Import Students will open a new page as below. To access the Import Template, click the Help button.
6. Clicking the Help button will open a pop-up window where you can download the import file by clicking the blue Download Import File button.
7. To use the Import feature there are some mandatory fields that need to be filled within the Excel. Using the help page you will find the details listed as to how to fill in the Import, and what is required for a successful import.
8. Once you have populated the relevant data on the Excel, navigate back to the Import page. You can now click Upload File.
9. Clicking Upload File will open a pop-up window where you can choose the file from your device. Once selected, click the blue Import button.
10. Clicking the blue Import button will let you know if you need to make any amendments to your Excel under the Reason won’t import column.
