The Learner Rewards page allows you to record good and bad behaviour for learners using a points system.
Configuring the Rewards Points System
Before you can start using the Learner Rewards page, you will need to configure the points system you are going to use. To do this, go to Administration > Standard Values > Learner Values > Reward Categories.
This will open a window listing all existing rewards categories on your system. To add a new category click on the blue Add Category button.
You can then input the label for the category, as well as the number of credits you want it to be worth. To set a reward category up as a negative value (i.e. a category for negative behaviour), simply input the value as a minus number. The numerical value is used to determine how many behaviour credits are given/taken from a learner.
Negative behaviour categories will appear in red when applying them to a learner category, and positive behaviour categories will appear in green.
Using the Learner Rewards page
To access the Learner Rewards page, first go on to the learner in question's record. Click on the View button along the top of the screen, and from the dropdown select Learner Rewards.
The Learner Rewards page is comprised of two parts, Options and Students. The Options area is where you select which learner you want to view as well as set filters to narrow down which rewards entries you want to view. The Options area is also where you can set starting credits and add a reward.
To add a reward, click on the blue Add Reward button in the Options area. This will open a window where you can then input the details regarding the reward.

You can also add rewards from the Day Attendance screen by clicking on File and then Add Reward. This will open a window listing all learners. Select the category of reward and add in any comments, then click the green Save Reward button.
The Students area will display the learners relevant to the filters selected above, their starting credits, and what their total credits are. Clicking on the + symbol next to each learner will expand to show each reward entry made within the given date range.
For each entry made, you will be able to see the date, time and staff member that entered the reward, as well as which category of reward was given, and any details about the reward if they have been added. To edit a reward entry, click on the notepad icon. To delete a reward entry, click on the trashcan icon.

Day Attendance Screen
You can also add rewards from the Day Attendance screen by clicking on File and then Add Reward. This will open a window listing all learners. Select the category of reward and add in any comments, then click the green Save Reward button.
Session Plans
When on a session plan, on the right hand list of options there is an 'Add Reward' option. This will open a window displaying all Learners in that session. You can deselect/select learners using the checkboxes.
Select the Category of reward using the dropdown at the top, add in any additional comments using the textbox, and then click the green Save Reward button.
