First you will need to find the web address for your Parent Portal, you can do this by contacting your organisation's Databridge Administrator.
Once you are on the login screen, input your username and password into the relevant fields. If you have Two Factor Authentication enabled, you will need the access code for this as well.
Information: For first time logins, check the email inbox that you have registered with the school/college to find your login details
Click the blue Login button to access the Portal.
Dashboard
Along the left hand side of the Dashboard is the Module List. Clicking on an option in the list will then take you to it's corresponding page. At the top of the module list you will see a 'burger icon'
and clicking on this will minimise the Module list to give you more space on the Dashboard.
Information: You can control what pages a user has access to, by clicking on Administration > Policies > 'Parent Access Policies' and using the checkboxes accordingly.
See below for further details on each page in the Portal.
Along the top of the dashboard is a drop-down field displaying the name of the Learner your Portal is linked to. If you are linked to more than one Learner, you can click on this field and select another Learner using the drop-down option.
There are three widgets that appear on the homepage of the Parent Portal:
- Attendance
- Achievements/Observations
- Today's Timetable
The Attendance widget of the Learner appears on the left in the form of a pie chart. You can use the Include Weekends checkbox here to specify if you want to include weekend attendance in the information being presented.
Note: Whether the Attendance that appears is for Session Attendance or Day Attendance is specified on Databridge. Go to Administration > Policies > Parent Access Policies > 'use Session Attendance on Widget' to select this.
To the right of the Attendance widget is the Achievements/Observations widget, displaying all achievements and observations recorded for the Learner over the last seven days. This widget will display the Date, Evidence Text, and Objective of each achievement or observation.
Along the bottom of the Dashboard there is the Timetable widget. This will display the Learner's Timetable for the current day, displaying the Start and End times for each Session, Subject, Tutor, and Location.
