Standard Values

Standard Values is the one area that lists all available options for configuration in Databridge whether it be labels, dropdowns, settings, dates and more. If you need to change any options you should always navigate to there first via Administration -> Standard Values. 

The Standard Values page is split into 8 different areas:

• General Values
• Student Values
• Staff Values
• Location Values
• Assessment Values
• Education Management Values
• Timetable Management Values
• Defaults

Each area contains the different options that are available to configure. For example, if you wanted to configure the Attendance Statuses that are available when marking Student attendance, you would go to the Student Values area, and scroll down until you see 'Attendance Status' in the list.

Tip:
As there are so many settings available in Standard Values, it can be handy to use the Search function on your browser. Press Ctrl + F and use the search bar that appears to search for specific keywords. Eg. if you want to configure the Target Cache but can't find it in Standard Values, using the search function will highlight the words 'Target cache' on the page for you
