The Event Audit Log provides information about changes to events.
The Audit Log is found in the Event Log section under the Audit Log option. You will need the Event Log - Audit permission if you cannot see this.
Information The Event Log - Audit permission allows users to view ALL event log audits and is not restricted by the Event Log Security area, this permission should be given to top level users only.
Under Options you can set criteria to filter the audit log.
Date (of Change) – Sets the date range to focus on. Set the From and To date.
Filters – There are three filters you can specify if required:
Filter | Description |
---|---|
Site | Select which site to filter on |
Category | Select a Category to filter on, or you can select All Categories |
Staff | Select a specific staff member to filter on or you can choose All Staff |
Event ID – You can choose a specific event ID to check.
Reports – Prints an Excel report.
Once filters have been set any matching audit log entries will be shown. This gives brief details of the action. You can then view the event details that the audit record refers to by clicking on the eye icon.
Clicking the notepad icon against the audit log entry shows details of the changes recorded for that event. It will show the fields along with their original value and the values they have been changed to if they have been changed.
Information The Date (of change) filter refers to the date of the change to the event - not the date of the event.
