Assigning Portal Logins for a Learner

Before a learner can begin to use the Learner Portal, you need to configure their login details. You can do this from the learners record individually, or you can bulk set login details.


To bulk set the login details for all, or a selection, of learners at once go to Security > Functions > 'Bulk Set Logins for Students'. This will open a window where you can then select learners to create logins for. Click the blue Set button once you've made your choice to then apply those login details to all individuals selected. These login details will now appear when viewing the learner's IT Details on their record.


 To change or set an individual learner's login details, access the Learner's record, and then click on the Edit tab. From the dropdown, select IT Details.


This will bring up a window containing two fields: Account and Password. You can set the account to the Learner's firstname, surname, a numerical ID, anything that you think will be easy for the Learner to use. Use the Password field to assign a password for this Learner. Once you've set the Learner's credentials, click the blue Save button.



Information:
You can print a report that displays all of the login credentials for the Learners on your system, by going to Learners > Reports > Learners Detail Reports > List of IT Username/Passwords. Running this report will create an excel sheet displaying all usernames and passwords for the Learner Portal.
