Setting up Funding Rationale

Before you begin adding Funding information to Databridge you should setup a relevant structure and rationale for this. This is so you can setup categories and statements such as 'Care' and 'Therapy Support' for example as options for selecting on the Funding screen for calculation.

Locating Funding Rationale

 

Navigate to Administration -> Standard Values on the left hand navigation menu. Under the Learner Values area, find and click on Funding Statements/Rationale.


This will take you to another screen specifically for setting up these areas. Click on File > Add Category to add in a new category. Once a category has been added, click on it to then bring up a window giving you various options. From here you can edit or delete a category, as well as add statements for the selected category by clicking the Add button, and filling in the details of the statement.


You can reorder the categories and statements to change the order they appear when applying them to a record. To change the order for the categories, click on File > Sort Categories. To reorder the statements, click on the Category header and from the window that appears, click Sort Statements.

 


 

Adding Categories

 

Before you can add Statements you first need Categories. To add a new one, click on the File menu at the top and then on Add Category.


All you need to enter in the modal is the title/label for the category e.g. Care, Equipment, Therapy etc.


if you need to edit or remove any Categories, click on them in the list to get these options.

 


 

Adding Statements

 

All Statements must be underneath a Category so start by clicking on the relevant one to bring up the modal for editing a Category. At the bottom of the modal click on the Add button, then on Add Statement.


A modal will appear foe entering the following information:


Field
Description 
StatementThe title/label of the Statement e.g. Therapy Support.
Description Enter a more detailed description for more clarity.
TypeSelect a relevant Type for this Statement.
CostEnter a base cost (optional) for this Statement. When adding this Statement to any Funding record it will use this by default.


Once you have entered the details ensure to click the Save button.


To edit or remove any Statement, locate it in the list first, click on it and you will get this modal again with the option to update and delete.
