Medical/Disability Tab

For Staff members you can record any medical details and disabilities under the Medical/Disability tab. In addition you can record any vaccinations that Staff member has or is required to have, and also mark them as a mandatory vaccination for the Staff member.



Medical


There are two free text boxes to detail any notes you wish to add relating the Staff member's medical conditions etc. Also there is a free text box to detail any allergies they may have.



Disabilities


If the Staff member has any disabilities you can record them under the Medical/Disability tab. First you need to ensure that the list of disabilities is configured in Standard Values



Information
The list of disabilities is held under Learner Values -> Disabilities



To add the Staff member's main disability, if they have one, first tick the Disability? tick box. Then choose the disability from the Disability dropdown, and add some Disability Notes if required.


If the Staff member has more than one disability that you wish to record click Add Additional Disability under the Other Disabilities section.



Vaccinations


In the Vaccinations section you can add any vaccinations the Staff member requires and any vaccinations they have that may not be required.


First you will need to add vaccination types in Standard Values. Under General Values go to Vaccination Types. You can edit existing entries by clicking the notepad icon.


Click Add New Vaccination Type to add a new entry. This will give you a Type text box to add the vaccination name. There are also two further options: 


Add to new staff to add this vaccination to the Medical/Disability tab for each new Staff member you add.

Mandatory to mark this as a mandatory vaccination for all Staff members. If you add this to a Staff member's Medical/Disability tab it will be marked as Mandatory automatically.


Once you have configured vaccination type you can add vaccinations to existing Staff records under the Medical/Disability tab by clicking Add Vaccination Entry. There are several options to add.

Date VaccinatedThe date of receiving the vaccination
MandatorySlide this if the vaccination is mandatory to have. Note this may be already set depending on the vaccination setup in Standard Values

Slide if the Staff member is currently vaccinated
