The Reporting Shortcuts page is an area of Databridge where you can store Event Text Reports and Block Reports, for quick access.

Sharing Event Log Text Reports

To add Event Log Text Reports to the Shortcuts page, go to Event Log > Reporting

The report that you wish to share on the shortcuts page must first be saved to your system. Please refer to the short article here to learn more about setting up and saving Event Log Report Datasets.

Once on the Event Log Reporting page, set the Chart Type field to 'Text Report'. This will change the buttons that appear underneath, including an option to appear labelled 'Load Text Report'. Clicking on this will bring up any Event Text Reports that you have saved to the system.

Use the dropdown to select the Event Log Text Report that you wish to share to the Shortcuts page, and then click on the 'Share selected' button.

Once this is done, the Text Report will now appear on the Shortcuts screen in the Event Reports section. Use the spreadsheet icon that appears next to an entry to print that report to Excel.

Note:
Access to these reports will still depend on the Permissions that have been applied to a user, as well as the security settings for Event Log Categories, and won't print if you do not have the relevant access to an Event Log Category

Sharing Block Reports

To share Block Reports to the Shortcuts page, go to Reporting > Block Reporting and then select the Block Report you wish to share using the notepad icon

Once on the page for the Block Report, click on File in the top left, and select 'Share Report' from the dropdown. This will bring up a window where you can then specify which security groups you wish to give access to the report on the Shortcuts page.

Click on Add Group and then use the dropdown to select the Security Group in question. Click Save to then share this report to the Shortcuts page for that specific Security Group. You can repeat this process as many times as is necessary.

The Block Report will now appear on the Shortcuts page for any user within the Security Group(s) you have selected. From the Shortcuts page, you can then print any Block Report to either a word document or an excel using the relevant icons.
