This tab us used to record and track Staff Appraisals. You will need to have the permissions for Staff - Appraisal View/Edit to see/alter this tab accordingly.
You can also set who an individuals Appraisal Manager is from this tab at the top.

Adding/Editing Appraisal Types and Categories
Before you start adding Appraisals you should setup any types/categories accordingly in Administration -> Standard Values. Under the Staff Values area, find and click on either Staff Appraisal Categories or Staff Appraisal Types.
Whichever option you choose you will see a modal of any existing ones setup. Either use the Add Value button to add new ones, or use the notepad icon to edit/delete existing ones.
Adding/Editing Staff Appraisals
To add a new Appraisal, click the Add Appraisal button underneath the list of existing ones.
To edit an Appraisal, click the row it is listed.
Both will open a modal with the available fields/tabs:
Field/Tab | Description |
---|---|
Appraisal Type | e.g. Initial Review, these are set as per the section above. |
Appraisal Category | e.g. Review, these are set as per the section above. |
Appraisal With | The main person leading the Appraisal. |
Date Due | The date the Appraisal should have occurred by. |
Date Held |
The actual date it occurred. |
Details | Enter details of the appraisal accordingly. |
Notes | Any notes or comments following the Appraisal. |
Accepted | Indicates if the Appraisal has been accepted by the Staff member |
Date Accepted | Indicates the date the Appraisal was accepted. |
Custom Questions | This allows you to set some custom fields/questions for Appraisals. The labels can be changed in Standard Values -> System Labels. |
Tracking | As per custom questions, you can change the labels of the fields here to determine different dates for tracking. |
Documents |
Upload any documents accordingly such as a form that was filled out or evidence related to the Appraisal. |
When you have finished, ensure to click the Save button. The list of Appraisals will update accordingly.
Viewing Staff Appraisals
Any existing appraisals will appear in a table beneath the field displaying the Appraisal Manager for the individual selected. You can use the field labelled 'View' as a filter to specify if you want to view all appraisals, or only the most recent.
The following information regarding each Appraisal will be shown:
Field | Function |

Type | Displays the type of Appraisal |
Added | Displays the date the Appraisal was added |
With | Displays who the Appraisal is with |
Due | Displays when the Appraisal is due |
Held | Displays when the Appraisal was held |
Notes | Displays any additional notes |
Accepted | Displays if the Appraisal was accepted or not |
Date Accepted | Displays the date that the Appraisal was accepted |
Document Uploaded | Displays if an additional document was included in the Appraisal entry |
Note: You can also view all upcoming Staff Appraisals by using the Staff - Upcoming Appraisals widget
Reporting Staff Appraisals
There are multiple reports you can run to print Staff Appraisal information. Go to Reporting > Reports Menu > Staff > Common Reports, and then from the list on the right, select List of Appraisals. You can print this to either an Excel spreadsheet, or a PDF file, using the respective icons. Use the filter on the left to narrow down which Staff members you want to run the report.
There is also the report List of Last Appraisals recorded which will only print out the most recent Appraisal
